White Phosphorus: Was it Used by US Forces in Iraq?

The short answer is "yes". But there is a longer answer as well. North County Times (San Diego) staff writer Darrin Mortenson, along with photojournalist Hayne Palmour, was embedded with a Marine unit involved in the aborted April, 2004 assault on Fallujah.
