While GWB's service in the National Guard is a big deal to many on the left, the majority of the people are smart enough to know that while his NG service 30+ years ago was probably relevant to the election in 2000, it is not relevant at all now. He has a nearly four-year record as president and commander-in-chief, including the prosecution of two wars. The electorate need look no further to decide if he has been effective.
Along with their attempts to portray John Kerry as a "war hero", the left just doesn't 'get it'.
